Title of the OTKA research theme:

Consumption and purchasing habits of organic foods in Hungary

We analyse the situation of organic food production with the help of secondary and primary marketing research methods in the world and in Hungary. We examine the factors which influence the consumers’ behaviour connected to organic foods using the obtained results. We examine the consumption and shopping habits of the shoppers with the help of primary marketing research methods (focus groups and questioning by questionnaire) then we define the most important target groups and work out the suitable sector marketing strategy.
