Az OTKA által támogatott kutatási tervem angol nyelvű összefoglalóját

The cytokine pattern of cell lines with keratinocyte origin is measured

in the function of human papillomavirus encoded proteins. Cytokine

pattern is determined by the relative ratios of cytokine mRNAs and house

keeping host genes. In surgical biopsies of lesions on the uterine

cervix, the cytokine mRNA expression and the expression of the

papillomaviral antigens are detected. The cellular immunity of patients

with cervical atypia is tested with IFN-gamma and IL-4 ELISPOT method

using recombinant papillomaviral antigens. To assess the natural course

and the recurrence of papillomavirus mediated squamous dysplasia,

retrospective analysis is performed on the associatiobn of the high risk

HPV types, the outcome of the infection and the viral load and the

presence of HPV infection after treatment for cervical intraepithelial

neoplasia.
