Success stories - IST

The Hungarian liaison - National Contact Point - to the IST programme operates under the Research and Development Division of the Ministry of Education.

Responsibilities

• participation in the work of the network of IST national contact points

• Consultation regarding IST related topics with national groups of experts, the initiation, support and co-ordination of national, programme-level initiatives - the support of the activities of workgroups (Health telematics, e-Learning)

• Provision of information on the IST programme to interested Hungarian parties

• Support of IST project proposers - information service, consultation

• Support of the establishment of relationships with potential project partners from Member States and Newly Associated States to the 5^th Framework Programme

• Support of the activities of the IST Programme Committee's Hungarian representatives - Sándor Bottka, and Marietta Zöldné Roska - appointed by the Minister of Education.

• Promotion of Hungarian participation in the 5^th Framework Programme, and the IST programme

• Support of the activities of the liaison offices

• Expression of opinions on proposals received by the Research and Development Division of the Ministry of Education that are related to the EU 5^th Framework Programme
